Flying Fijians Centre Seru Rabeni has signed a one-year contract with the Leeds Carnegie.

Rabeni was a free agent after his contract at Gloucester was cancelled due to medical reasons relating to a knee injury.

Speaking from England, Rabeni said he is happy to get a new contract.

Rabeni said he was not happy how things went at Gloucester although he signed a three-year contract with them early this year.

Rabeni is expected to be fully fit to make his Leeds debut within a month.
