Fiji 15's Rugby Centre Seru Rabeni will not feature in the IRB Pacific Nations Cup this season.

Rabeni is currently serving a 14 week ban given by the Rugby Football Union disciplinary committee, after being found guilty of making contact with the eye area of a Saracens hooker, in Leicester's Guinness Premiership victory on March 15th.

His suspension ends in July and Fiji will play their final match against Tonga in Nuku'alofa on July 6th, thus ruling him out of the competition.

Meanwhile, overseas players so far confirmed to play for Fiji in the IRB Pacific Nations Cup are Mosese Rauluni, Nicky Little, Wame Leawaravu and Sunia Koto.

The competition kicksoff on June 7th with Fiji's opening match against Samoa at Lautoka's Churchill Park.
