The outgoing President of the Methodist Church of Fiji Reverend Laisiasa Rabatacaca will address the church ministers, deacons and delegates today, as the one week conference proper kicks off today at the Centenary Church.

Former Vice President of the Church Ratu Meli Saukuru confirmed that high on the agenda today is the election of the President's positions, as his three year term comes to an end after his opening speech today.

Saukuru added that top posts ready for elections today include the Vice President, General Secretary and his Deputy. However, one of the highlights to be discussed by the pastors will be the Davuilevu Theological College and the running of the institution.

Saukuru stressed the importance of the institution as most of the young scholars are trained and equipped spiritually from Davuilevu.

The meeting is currently underway.
