Star Wallabies fullback Kurtley Beale's chances of taking the field in the Rugby World Cup semi final against the All Blacks on Sunday is fading away.

For the second day in a row, Beale was not seen at a Wallabies' training session as he continues to battle a hamstring strain which forced him from the field late in the quarter final win over South Africa.

Should Beale be scratched, centre Adam Ashley Cooper is set to drop back to fullback with the hard running Rob Horne likely to come into centre.

Prop Sekope Kepu also watched from the sidelines with an ice pack on his knee.

Despite the injury concerns, Wallabies coach Robbie Deans said they will await confirmation before making a decision.
