“My major concern is to send a team to the Rugby World Cup.”
That is the comment from Fiji Rugby Union Chairman Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga after the naming of the final 50 members Flying Fijian’s Rugby World Cup squad included two players with military connections.
Colonel Tikoitoga said that the players were picked on how they performed and whatever decision New Zealand has on Manasa Saulia and Leone Nakarawa, they will follow it.
28 players from within this squad will represent Fiji for the Pacific Nations Cup and the rest will continue their preparation for the Rugby World Cup.
Fiji's first PNC game is on the 2nd of next month against Samoa.
