RWC Members to Strengthen Warriors
Loose-head prop Alefoso Yalayalatabua, hooker Vereniki Sauturaga, flanker Aca Ratuva and first-five-eighth Waisea Luveniyali who were part of the Fiji 15s team to France will add experience in the team.
Warriors coach Iliesa Tanivula is likely to opt for his Crusaders winning Colonial Cup captain Aporosa Vata to lead the side.
For the Eddy Waqa coached Barbarians team, the likes of livewire hooker Aseri Buli, Aca Bibi and former national 7s rep Vima Tuidraki and Simeli Koniferedi will be part of the team.
Waqa is likely to name Knights halfback Kelemedi Bola to captain the Fiji Barbarians team.
National 15s rugby coach Ilivasi Tabua together with Tanivula and Waqa will name the 26 players in the Warriors and the Barbarians tonight.
The Pacific Cup will kick-off next week at Churchill Park where the Fiji Warriors will host the Tautahi Gold at 7pm at Churchill Park.
On Saturday in Samoa, the Barbarians will take on Savaii Samoa at 4pm.
