Eight members from the winning 2005 Rugby World Cup team that brought the Melrose Cup have been named in the final 24 member training squad by the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU).
Japan based Semisi Naevo, Apolosi Satala, Sireli Boboillam Ryder, Filimoni Delasau, Jone Daunivucu, Neumi Nanuka and Nasoni Roko impressed selectors and were recalled to don the national jumper.
The final 12 member squad will be known later this week, however Coach Illiesa Tanivula said he has confidence in the names handed to him and will be working with them tomorrow.
These boys will be part of the team to defend the Melrose Cup in Dubai next month and also be going to Hong Kong and Adelaide.

William Rasileka, Seremaia Burotu and Waqabaca Kotobalavu.
In the Backs, Waisale Suka, Watisoni Votu, Jone Daunivucu, Vereniki Goneva, Filimoni Delasau, Neumi Nanuku, Osea Kolinisau,
Niumaia Cakacaka, Peni Rokodiva Jnr, Nasoni Roko, Emosi Vucago,
Filimoni Bolavucu, Orisi Sariki and William Ryder.
Not included in the list are former Coach Waisele Serevi, Rupeni Caucau, Viliame Satala, Lepani Nabuliwaqa and Marika Vunibaka.
