RKS seems to be on track to win the Tailevu zone meet from QVS this afternoon at the Post Fiji stadium.

Long distance runner Mesulame Narawa claimed the first gold medal for RKS, when he won the Open Boys 3000 meters final this morning.

The silver medal went to Tailevu North and Nayala High settling for the bronze medal. The reigning champions QVS is set to win a medal.

In the girls division Nayala High leads with 1 gold. Tuliana Marama won the gold in the Open Women’s 3000 meters final.

Wainibuka Secondary took the silver and Nayala High got the bronze medal.

The 3000 meters is the only final completed so far and at this stage the 100 meters and field events are underway.

The Tailevu Zone meet will end this afternoon.
