It has evaded them for the past five years and they are just steps away from playing in the final but the Ratu Kadavulevu School know the Coca Cola Deans semifinal against Ratu Navula on Saturday will be their toughest assignment so far this season.
They last tasted a win in 2002, but shared with Suva Grammar in 2005 and they have never lifted the number 1 prize in secondary school rugby since then.
The boys from Lodoni know they cannot afford to play the same style of rugby they did in their 11-10 close win against John Wesley to their semifinal opponent.
RKS will take on a Ratu Navula team which proved after the quarter final against Suva Grammar that they mean business in becoming the first West school to win the Deans final.
The Deans trophy semifinal in both the Tier 1 and Tier 2 will be held on Saturday at the TFL Stadium.
