"One thing that gave Ratu Kadavulevu the edge in their semifinal match against Ratu Navula is that they did not panic".
That is the view of Viti FM's rugby commentator, Ravi Sharma after watching the semifinals at the TFL stadium yesterday.
This is after RKS beat Ratu Navula by 16-15 in the first semifinal for them to set up a showdown against defending champions Lelean memorial School in the finals.
Sharma says though Ratu Navula was leading before half time, RKS stuck to their game plan.
However, Ravi adds that despite the second semifinal being a one-sided affair, he praised Nasinu for keeping the scoreboard at nil-all for most of the first half.
Meanwhile, the finals of the Deans rugby competition in other grades have been confirmed.
In the Under 14 grade, Marist will play QVS, Ratu Navula will play QVS in the Under 15 grade, RKS meets QVS in the Under 16 grade, Marist Brothers will take on QVS in the Under 17 grade and Lelean Memorial will play QVS in the Under 18 grade.
The final in the Under 19 will see defending Deans champions, Lelean Memorial School taking on Ratu Kadavulevu School.
All games will be played at Churchill Park in Lautoka on August 21st.
