There will be a new champion in the Under 18 Coke Zero Deans competition after Lelean Memorial School lost to Marist Brothers High School 20-13 in the second semifinal this afternoon.

Lelean was leading 13-8 at halftime but Marist displayed a strong second half performance to claim the win and meet RKS in the final next week.

Marist scored three tries through Josh Rogoimuri, Lionel Monua and Kaliopasi Uluilakepa.

Lelean scored a converted try and two penalties.

Meanwhile, RKS booked a spot in the Coke Zero Deans final after defeating Ratu Navula College 17-10 in their match this afternoon.

Fullback Nailati Ukalele was outstanding for RKS after putting through four penalties in the first half.

RKS led 12-0 at halftime.

Ratu Navula openside flanker Peniami Narisia scored the first try of the match in the 21st minute of the second half to narrow the scores to 12-5.

Center Joseva Ratavo was given a yellow card.

Blindside flanker Jolicani Rogowale then crossed over for RKS to give them a 17-5 lead.

Ratu Navula crossed over for another try but RKS maintained their lead to come through with the victory.

The Coke Zero Deans finals will be held next Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
