Ratu Kadavulevu School's nippy halfback and captain Ratu Henry Seniloli scored two tries to guide the "herons" to an emphatic 21-19, last minute win over Suva Grammar School in a packed Churchill Park ground yesterday.

The 19 year old was all smiles after the semifinals and will now have to prepare well to meet 2006 Deans champions Lelean Memorial School in next week’s finals.

Suva Grammar centre Saiasi Mataitoga had the final chance to steal the match from RKS but he just missed while players and officials were already celebrating on the field, only to find out later that Mataitoga had missed.

RKS also created history with the school qualifying for the finals in all six grades in next week’s Coke Zero Deans finals.

The side faces QVS in the Under-14 and Under-15 finals, Suva Grammar in the Under-16, Marist in the Under-17 and Lelean Memorial School in the Under-18 and Under-19 finals.

In the Tier 2 finals: in the Under-15, St Thomas meet John Wesley College, in the Under-16, Holy Cross meet Lami High, in the Under-17, Labasa College meet Nabua, in the Under-18, Lami High take on Rt Navula, and the finals in the Under-19 will see Ratu Sukuna Memorial School take on Natabua High School.

All the games will be held at the National stadium.
