“There’s no better year to win the Sukuna Bowl than this year”

These are the words of the Commander of the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces Brigadier General Mosese Tikoitoga while speaking at their thanksgiving service at Queen Elizabeth Barracks earlier today.

Tikoitoga said the 18 -10 victory over Police last week was dedicated to the people that lost their lives in the events of 2000.

He added that the events of 2000 is one that changed Fiji and brought many positive changes.

While addressing about 300 Soldiers who were present at the service, Tikoitoga said the win is also dedicated to those who lost their lives during World War One as they will celebrate its 100 years next month.

Tikoitoga reminded the soldiers that despite winning the Sukuna Bowl title they should maintain their discipline and give their best to serve their country.

Meanwhile, also present at the thanksgiving service was Nadroga mentor Esala Nauga who also coached the side last week.
