The Fiji Military Forces continues to investigate one of their own staff who was in possession of a pistol in Suva on Friday night.
Military spokesperson Major Neumi Leweni said questions will be asked on why the soldier was not at his location of duty.
Police arrested the soldier with the gun last Friday and reported the matter to the Military Police where the man was taken in for questioning.
