Quick action by the firefighters saved the Nausori town council library from being burnt down this afternoon.
Nausori Police confirm that the library located at the top floor of the Colonial National Bank building caught fire at about 2 o’clock this afternoon.
People raised the alarm and firefighters arrived on time to put it out.
The extent of damage and the cause of fire is not known at this stage.
