Fiji is known to have skillful and fast back line players but the questions is always being raised about our forwards whether they have what it takes to match the opposition.

Last week against Samoa the Flying Fijians forwards put up a gallant performance especially in the front row as they out muscled the Samoans in the scrum.

The last time Fiji put up a great performance in the front row was during the 1999 World cup where Joeli Veitayaki, Greg Smith and Dan Rouse were instrumental in holding off challenges from teams like France and England.

Tomorrow Scotland will be targeting our forwards and Flying Fijians coach Inoke Male said that the game against Samoa is gone now and his forwards have to match the Scots especially in how they approach the game.

Male has announced the team to take on Scotland.

The starting lineup:

In the forwards - Jerry Yanuyanutawa, Viliame Veikoso, Setefano Somoca, Api Naikatini, Leone Nakarawa, Iliesa Ratuva, Malakai Ravulo and Netani Talei.

In the backs - Nikola Matawalu returns as halfback, Jonetani Ralulu comes into the No 10 spot, Watisoni Votu, Aloisio Buto, Vereniki Goneva, Waisea Nayacalevu and Isimeli Koniferedi.

Fiji will take on Scotland at 2pm tomorrow at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary of the match on our sister station, Viti FM.
