Edinburgh Drive and Reservoir Road is now open to all traffic.

The Queens Road is now open. One lane has been opened in the last few minutes in Navua.

However, most roads around the country remain closed.

Transport Ministry spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said they are still gathering and assessing the situation and will make a decision soon.

The Kings Highway remains closed to all traffic until further notice due to landslides, flooding and broken trees and power lines.

Kings Road is closed at Korovou, Qelekuro, Wailotua, Naqia, Nayavu while the bridges are underwater and closed to all traffic and the Naseyani Road are also closed.

Along the Queens Road from the Taunovo depot to Lomary Catholic School and up to Galoa village, water has receded.
