Queens counsel representing businessman Ballu Khan, Peter Williams is back in the country as they peruse to try and secure Khan's release, who remains under police guard at the Suva Private hospital.

Speaking to Village News, a member of Khans legal team confirmed that they have been working tirelessly to try and ensure justice for their client.

While not wanting reveal anything further, the lawyer has confirmed that they are working on something and hope for some major developments in relation to their client later today.

Khan, who remains in police custody at the hospital, was arrested in mid November in relation to the alleged assassination plot against the interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama and others.

Police maintain that Khan will be questioned again in relation to the alleged plot once he is released from hospital.
