Former Flying Fijians flanker Akapusi Qera has agreed to sign for another two years at Gloucester.

The 27-year-old Fiji international is currently in his fifth season at Kingsholm and has made 94 appearances for the Premiership outfit.

Qera said he is happy with the confidence that the club has in him, especially the fans and the crowd and he will do his best to make sure Gloucester can win more silverware.

Qera arrived at Gloucester in the 2007-08 season and scored eight tries in 20 starts during his first season.

He struggled with injury the following year but ran in 10 tries in 24 appearances on his return to the side in 2009/10.

The backrower signed a contract extension in 2010 and was named player of the year that season.
