Vodafone Flying Fijians captain, Akapusi Qera is calling out to all Fijians to support the 31 players that have been named to represent Fiji in the Rugby World Cup in England next month.

Qera who will be playing his third World Cup says they have been working hard after the Pacific Nations Cup and believes the Flying Fijians have the depth to cause an upset in the “pool of death”.                                            

Coach, John McKee has selected 18 forwards and 13 backs in his team.

The five props that have been selected are Campese Ma’afu, Isei Colati, Manasa Saulo, Peni Ravai and Leeroy Atalifo while the hookers will be Vice Captain Sunia Koto, Tuapati Talemaitoga and Viliame Veikoso.

The locks include PNC’s top try scorer Leone Nakarawa, Nemia Soqeta, Tevita Cavubati and Api Ratuniyarawa.

Looking at the flankers, McKee has included all the six players who went to the PNC including Captain Akapusi Qera, Dominiko Waqaniburotu, Malakai Ravulo, Peceli Yato, Netani Talei and Sakiusa Matadigo.

The scrum halves are Henry Seniloli, Nemia Kenatale and Nikola Matawalu while Ben Volavola, Gabby Lovobalavu, Levani Botia and Josh Matavesi are the inside backs.

The outside backs are Vice Captain Vereniki Goneva, Waisea Nayacalevu, Asaeli Tikoirotuma, Kini Murimurivalu, Metuisela Talebula and Crusaders robust winger Nemani Nadolo.

The team will leave for England at the end of this month.

Fiji will play England in Twickenham in the opening match of the Rugby World Cup at 7am Saturday 19th September.
