Fiji 15's rugby flanker Akapusi Qera put up a man of the match performance but his Gloucester side went down to Leicester 25 -26 in the Guinness Premiership semifinal.

Qera, who is the first ever Fijian rugby player to be nominated for the Guinness Premiership's Player of the Season, gave a tricky pass to James Simpson-Daniel who scored the team's only try.

But a late drop-goal by Leicester's Andy Goode sent them to the final where they will meet Wasps at Twickenham on May 31st.

Qera is now expected to join the Fiji 15's team later this week to prepare for the IRB Pacific Nations Cup competition.
