The Flying Fijians coach Ilivasi Tabua is hoping that Gloucester flanker, Akapusi Qera will be given the greenlight to play against the New Zealand Maori this Saturday.

Qera who came in as a replacement in the second half against Samoa, injured his knee and was on crutches yesterday, as they recovered from the 34-17 win.

Tabua said that Qera will be assessed today by the medical staff before he makes any decision on his availability.

Meanwhile Flying Fijians technical adviser, Glen Ella has high hopes that after an impressive performance against Samoa last week, the Fijians can win again in their second match.
