The President of Fiji Labour Party said ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase's comment that he can never be part of an interim government is laughable.
Jokapeci Koroi said Qarase might have forgotten that he was an Interim Prime Minister after the overthrow of the People's Coalition Government in May 2000.
She also alleges that Qarase was aware of the plot to overthrow the elected government before May 2000.
Koroi added that Qarase has done much damage to the integrity and governance of the nation and he would do the nation a service to retire gracefully from public life.
Qarase is expected to comment later today.
