Former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase is expected to file another legal battle against the interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama in relation to recent statements by Commodore Bainimarama on Qarase's visit to Australia.
In a press conference this afternoon Qarase stressed that he has not been charged for corruption by FICAC as earlier said by Commodore Bainimarama.
According to Qarase, this statement by Commodore Bainimarama is defamatory.
Qarase added that there was no condition given by the High Court on his trip to Australia.
Meanwhile, Qarase refused to reveal the total amount of money collected in Australia saying it is a small amount which will be used for SDL party's cases in Court.
