Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase said he is ready to form the next government in Fiji after the next elections.
Qarase is confident that the SDL party will win again in the next polls although Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama told Village News yesterday that the military council is of the view that Qarase and the ousted SDL ministers should never return to power.
Meanwhile the Qaranivalu and SDL Patron, Ratu Inoke Takiveikata, the Roko Tui Dreketi, Ro Teimumu Kepa, Party President Ratu Kalokalo Loki, and other ousted SDL Ministers, Ted Young, Sam Speight Junior, Ilaitaia Tuisese, Doctor Tupeni Baba, Jonetani Galuinadi, Ratu Jone Kubuabola, Mere Samisoni, and friends presented a traditional welcome ceremony to Laisenia Qarase at the SDL headquarters in Suva today.
