Instead of calling for my retirement, the Fiji Labour Party President, Jokapeci Koroi should retire first.
These are the words of Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase responding to the FLP President's call for him to retire because he has done much damage to the integrity and governance of the nation.
Qarase also disputes the claims by Koroi that he was aware of the plot to overthrow the elected government before May 2000.
The Ousted Prime Minister had earlier said that he would never be part of this interim government to which Jokapeci Koroi said the comment was laughable as Qarase must not forget, that he was also a part of the interim government after the overthrow of the People's Coalition Government in May 2000.
