Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase has today questioned why the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption is not taking steps to investigate tax evasion allegations against a senior interim minister.
Qaarse said the FICAC Deputy Commissioner's excuse that FICAC does not have any tax expertise to investigate the allegations is just unwarranted.
Qarase also said the truth will always prevail after FICAC's comments yesterday that some SDL members will be charged soon.
