Ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase maintains that he will not back down from his calls for Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama to meet with him for the future of Fiji.
After Commodore Bainimarama stated that he will not accept the SDL's proposals, Qarase said he hopes the Interim PM changes his mind.
Commodore Bainimarama had earlier said that Qarase wants to meet with him for his own personal gain and not for the people of Fiji.
