Ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase has hit out at the statement made by the Interim Attorney General that the politicians calling for Mahendra Chaudhry to resign is a political point scoring.
Qarase said they are dealing with a serious issue where an inquiry is being held against an Interim Minister while he is on fully paid leave.
The Interim Attorney General said critics of the Mahendra Chaudhry inquiry should stop the political point scoring by calling on the Interim Finance Minister to resign.
Sayed-Khaiyum stresses that Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama is the Acting Interim Finance Minister and there will be no interference by anyone in relation to the inquiry.
