The leader of the SDL party and former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase said the international community is fully aware about what is happening in Fiji and the interim government cannot paint a good picture as the facts speak for itself.

Qarase said he has written to the Pacific Islands Forum and the UN as Fiji's ousted Prime Minister about the country's situation.

Qarase has raised concern that Bainimarama told the Secretary General of the ACP Sir John Kaputin in Brussels that everything is operating normally and business is booming in Fiji.

He said this amounts to false information being communicated to the ACP leaders and the international community.

Commodore Bainimarama returned from Brussels yesterday.

He is currently chairing the cabinet meeting and is yet to comment.
