The former Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase should seek legal advice and should know the proper procedures instead of making comments to the media.

Those were the comments from the Interim Attorney General, Aiyaz Saiyed-Khaiyum at a press conference today on Qarase's comments in relation to the stay order that was obtained by the State on Justice Filimoni Jitoko's ruling to stop the process of the People's Charter.

Qarase had said that he believed that the obtaining of the stay order was an abuse of the court system and they were disappointed at the granting of the stay by Appeals Court Judge, Justice John Byrne.

Sayed-Khaiyum reiterated that Qarase should express his concerns in the next court sitting and not outside court.
