The Director Immigration Commander Viliame Naupoto had confirmed that former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase's name has been removed from the immigration watch list and will not face any problems at the Nadi Airport when he leaves for Australia within the next few days.
Naupoto said the department has followed the court order to allow Qarase to travel.
This is after Qarase was granted bail variations allowing him to travel to Australia to visit his children and grandchildren.
Qarase is looking forward to travelling out of the country for the first time since December 2006 after the court yesterday varied his bail condition.
