Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama has stressed that the Qarase led government had encouraged corruption at different levels of the civil service, and he said no one can deny that.

Commodore Bainimarama is concerned that some people keep asking when the ousted ministers will be charged in relation to corrupt practices.

He said people need to realise that corrupt practices include bad decision making and wastage of tax dollars.

While speaking to the media at the Nasese foreshore, Commodore Bainimarama even revealed that under the previous government, millions of dollars have already been used on the Grand Pacific Hotel project although it has not gotten off the ground.
