Ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase is getting ready to leave for Suva with his wife Leba later this morning.
When contacted a few minutes ago, Qarase said he is just waiting for the call from SDL National Director Peceli Kinivuwai on when he is expected to board the flight to Suva.
Village News has received information that Qarase is expected to arrive by helicopter to Suva.
Kinivuwai said that he hopes all goes well today and he will reveal more information later this morning.
