Qarase, Chaudhry will be irrelevant in 2014-PM
Bainimarama said he told the Commonwealth that if Sir Paul meets with Qarase and Chaudhry, they would just confuse Fiji's situation.
He said he also knows that Qarase and Chaudhry had written to the Commonwealth asking that Fiji be suspended if it does not have elections by 2010.
Bainimarama said Qarase and Chaudhry could not even work together before but they now have a common enemy who they are trying to target.
Qarase had earlier said that Sir Paul Reeves had not made any contact to meet with him when he was in Fiji. Both Qarase and Chaudhry had written to the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum and the Commonwealth asking that the Presidential Political Dialogue be held and all electoral reforms be agreed to by October this year. They propose that elections can be held in 2010 after the reforms.
