The military said the statement made by Naitasiri High Chief, Ratu Inoke Takiveikata was an attempt to incite people using his chiefly position.
Military spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel, Mosese Tikoitoga said the military believes that somebody is behind the Naitasiri High Chief and they will soon find out.
Lieutenant Colonel Tikoitoga said Ratu Inoke has no credibility to speak on behalf of the vanua or a group, because of the serious allegations leveled against him which led to the November 2000 mutiny.
