Qaranivalu/Khan remain in police custody
Naitasiri High Chief, Ratu Inoke Takeiveikata and prominent bussinessman Ballu Khan remain in police custody after the two were taken in for question by Officer from a joint Police/ Military operation yesterday.
Police confirm this morning that Ballu Khan has been admitted at Suva Private Hospital after he complained of feeling sick last night.
Police also confirm that the Qaranivalu spent the night at CPS after he was brought in for questioning yesterday afternoon.
It has also been confirmed that Army Commander, Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama was at the Central Police Station last night for about half an hour.
Officials from the Police and the RFMF are tightlipped on the reasons the two men are being held for questioning and the reasons for the Commander's visit to CPS, however when contacted just moments ago, Police Commissioner Commodore Esala Teleni is expected to hold a press conference later this morning.
