QVS teams storm into Dean’s semis
The boys from Vulinitu defeated Southern Zone champion, Suva Grammar 24-12 in the quarterfinal to book a spot in the semifinal next weekend.
Their U15 beat Natabua 24-8, in the U16 QVS defeated Lelean 10-nil while the U17 thumped Suva Grammar 25-nil and in the U19, QVS beat Votualevu 13-5.
Also looking impressive are the Western boys, Ratu Navula from Nadi after scoring a big 27-nil win against Marist in the U18 quarter final.
Ratu Navula also scored a 12-3 win against SGS in the U15 while their U 16 proved too strong for Ratu Sukuna winning 36-3 while they also had a 3-nil win against Lelean in the U17 grades.
In other grades results, Marist is in the semifinal for the U15 after beating RKS 18-8 while their U17 also had a close 11-7 win against the Lodoni boys.
U 14 results, RKS beat Cuvu 10-nil and Natabua qualified to the semifinal with a 5 all draw against Suva Grammar.
In the 3rd U18, quarterfinal, defending Deans champion Lelean beat Lomawai 13-7 and RKS beat John Wesley 17-6.
The semifinal will be held at the TFL Stadium next Saturday.
