The Queen Victoria School athletes will still participate in the Coca Cola Games this year although all their athletes are in other schools around the country.

Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association Secretary Vuli Waqa said QVS students who are in the West will have to come and compete in the Tailevu Zone that will be held in Suva.

QVS is currently closed after the severe destruction left by Monster Cyclone Winston last month.

The Ministry of Education has also directed its students to the schools closest to their homes for them to resume their classes.

Meanwhile, former John Wesley College sprinter and Coke Games Intermediate Boys 200 metres champion Ilaitia Waqa is with QVS this year and is aiming to bring some glory to the boys from Vulinitu.
