The Queen Victoria School Under 17 side will remain in the Tier One competition in the next season after they defeated Cuvu College in the Coca Cola Zero Deans playoff today.

Both teams were locked at 5-all, even after the sudden death but under Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Association rules, QVS scored the first try and was declared the winner in the end.

Meanwhile the Shri Vivekananda College from Nadi is highly likely to miss a place in the Coca Cola Zero Deans Tier One competition next season.

This is after they failed to turn up for their playoff match against QVS in the Under 16 division this morning at Churchill Park, allowing QVS to win by default.

Fiji Secondary School's Rugby Association will meet next week to decide on what action they will be taking on Shri Vivekananda College.

In the opening match of the Coca Cola Zero Deans playoffs this morning Lelean Memorial School defeated Ratu Navula by 17 points to nil. The win has again sealed Lelean's chance of playing in the Tier One nation next season.
