Queen Victoria School has now taken the lead in the Fijivillage medal tally in the Boys Division at the Tailevu Zone with 5 Gold 2 Silver and 5 Bronze, while defending champions, Ratu Kadavulevu School now lies in second place with 3 Gold 6 Silver and 5 Bronze, and St Vincent is third with 3 Gold 3 Silver and 1 Bronze.

In the Girls Division, St Vincent lead with 4 Gold 7 Silver and 2 Bronze, Wainibuka Secondary is in second place with 4 Gold and 3 Bronze and Tailevu North is third with 3 Gold 4 Silver and 3 Bronze.

Three Tailevu Zone records have been broken so far.

The latest record was broken in the Senior Girls Javelin from Salote Radini of Tailevu North with a new distance of 29.10 meters, the old record stood at 28.81metres.

Other records came from Dawasamu Secondary school athlete Vilisi Nakoca in the open Girls 3000m and set a new time of 11 minutes 55.06 seconds, the old record stood at 12 minutes 55.17seconds set back in 2004.

The second record was broken by Waisea Ratabacaca of Ratu Kadavulevu School who ran the 3000m in a time of 8 minutes 53.7seconds.

The old record set back in 2004 was 9minutes 53.9 seconds.
