Queens Counsel Peter Williams said his client Ballu Khan's condition is serious and he still needs medical treatment abroad.
Speaking to Village News, Williams said all they can say is that Khan is not well and is in no condition to be interrogated.
However, when questioned on whether they are trying to make arrangements to have Khan flown out of the country, Williams said his client was taken to hospital upon their request and would not comment further.
Deputy Commissioner of Police SSP Eroni Antonio confirmed earlier that he will be questioned again once he is released from hospital.
