The water pumps at the Waimanu Pumping Station broke down again early this morning resulting in no water supply in the greater Suva area.
Officials at the Suva Water Supply Department confirm that these pumps were fixed last night however it broke down again at 3am.
Engineers are working on the pumps and no timeframe has been given on when the pumps will be fixed.
There was a planned water shutdown from Friday 10am to 10pm yesterday in Tamavua and Lami.
Residents of Delainavesi, Nadonumai, Upper Lami, Wailoku, Savura and Veisari will again be affected.
People have been advised to collect enough water, if water is still running in their taps.
Divisional Water Engineer Central/Eastern Samuela Tubui is expected to comment later.
