Augustine Pulu knows he is a long way from pulling on a New Zealand Sevens jersey at the Rio Olympics.
That was in both time and sevens ability, as he tries to soak up as much knowledge from the experienced members of the team during their week‑long camp ahead of this weekend's Wellington Sevens.
Pulu made his debut late last year at the Dubai Sevens and said he felt he had progressed well since then.
Meanwhile, New Zealand is in pool A with South Africa, Scotland and Russia in the Wellington 7s this weekend.
