People living in the low-lying areas in the Central and Eastern Division have been called on to take extra precaution as the moist condition is likely to cause localised flooding in their areas.
The Meteorology Director Rajendra Prasad said that a moist and unstable weather is covering Fiji currently which will see rain and strong winds tonight and tomorrow.
Prasad said the weather is expected to improve by Thursday this week.
Meanwhile, Lami police confirm that the water level at the Qauia Bridge has receded and the road is now open to all traffic.
