The New Zealand rugby public’s expectations of the world champion All Blacks might be a bit too high.
Despite the win against South Africa there has been a bit of criticism over the All Blacks’ efforts in the Rugby Championship and the standard of play in general during this tournament.
All Blacks Coach Steve Hansen said it was not a complete performance as the Springboks were desperate and played with a lot of commitment and physicality.
The All Blacks will now take a break before hitting the roads to wrap up the championship in Argentina and South Africa.
Meanwhile, New Zealand beat South Africa 21-11 while Australia defeated Argentina 23-19.
