It is certainly going to be a Merry Christmas for the public servants this year.
The Public Service Commission Chairman Rishi Ram had confirmed that all the public servants will be getting their 2% pay restoration before Christmas.
Meanwhile, the Industrial Adviser for the Confederation of Public Sector Unions Nirbhay Singh said the public servants will not gain anything by getting back what the interim government owed to them.
Public Servants had a 5% pay cut after the military takeover in 2006.
