Public Forum Waste of Tax Payers Money-Nasinu Mayor
Councillor Rajeshwar Kumar said the NCBBF secretariat is disorganized and the poor turnout at the public forum at Rishikul Sanatan College on Monday night is a clear indication that the NCBBF is not organising the public forum properly.
Kumar said only four or five Nasinu residents took part in the forum organized on Monday night and it’s a shame that out of more than 100,000 residents, only a handful were present.
Meanwhile NCBBF member, Adi Finau Tabakaucoro has reacted strongly to Kumar's statements, saying that he should think twice about continuing with the NCBBF if he disagrees with how the NCBBF is doing its work.
Adi Finau confirms that the NCBBF is also looking at doing house to house visits as a result of the poor turnout in some forums. However she said they need to be careful as people may see it as an intimidating tactic.
