The Independent Investigation Team for Fijian institutions is currently looking at documents at the Serua Namosi Provincial Council as part of their investigation for the 14 provinces.

Team member, Ponipate Lesavua said the team will see if there are any discrepancies around each provincial council when they utilize the $100,000 grant from the government given to the provincial councils every year.

Lesavua said some councils have gone into investment and development projects out of the grant like building schools and sanitation in their villages.

Next week the team will be in Nadroga.
