Agriculture officers and the Tailevu Provincial Council members are out currently carrying out field surveys to find out families that badly need their assistance.
Tailevu Provincial Officer Semisi Kauwata said that they have already put together a relief package and are visiting these areas as their livelihood has been destroyed.
The relief they are handing out consists of dhal, rice, cooking oil and sugar along with canned food.
